This 1939 Chevrolet Master Deluxe is driven often both around town and on the road. The car is parked in a humidity controlled garage with other vehicles. The motor is a 350 short block V-8 with forged flat pistons and Lunati hydraulic roller cam bored to 4.030 with a 3.480 stroke and 9.32:1 compression. A Holly 750 feeds the aluminum Dart heads and ceramic exhaust headers. The motor is kept cool even in Southern summers by two electric fans and an aluminum radiator. The transmission is a 750R4 turning a 9 inch rear with a 3.5 ratio keeping the motor around 2200 rpm at highway speed. The exhaust system is Flowmaster wrapped in Muffler Armor.
The car s features include; complete interior replacement, Dolphin gauges, HushMat on all interior surfaces (doors, under dash, floor, roof, trunk, wheel wells), electric two speed windshield wipers and LED exterior turn signals. It is equipped with air conditioning, power bucket seats (front), power steering, power brakes and GM tilt steering column. The car is the original all steel body. Among the suppliers used for specialty products are Summit Racing, Chev s of the 40 s, Golden Rodtroics, Ron Frances wiring and Dakota Digital. A crack recently appeared in the right rear (backseat passenger) window on a trip to a car show in Marshall, Texas. The rear windows in a Master Deluxe roll down. An assortment of extra parts accompany the car; heat shrink tubing, door latches (4), rear window running / brake light, seat belts, aftermarket horn (original in cars), Lokar throttle cable, CandlePower bulbs for front running lights (box), original brake lights (2), PowerMaster alternator (chrome), side mirrors (4), Performance Parts bowtie air cleaner nuts (3), 4 way chrome lug nut wrench and hubcaps.
